 The attached patch is a proof of concept of idea #3 above. It runs the
 toolboxes out of the shell service, and as currently written, still has
 the activities do the actual keeping and sharing themselves (when they
 receive signals from the shell service indicating that the buttons were
 pressed).

 It also implements part of #1166, by having the "Stop" button do an
 os.kill() on the process if you press it a second time. (This isn't
 completely right, but it shows that the general idea works.)

 (I wrote most of this before Jim bumped the bug to 1.1, and just figured I
 should attach it here so it doesn't get lost, even if no one is going to
 be looking at this again for a few months.)
