 Alright, I can understand that.  But what about the device always being
 busy.  I don't know what Journal is doing to the flash drive, but while
 it's mounted the LED flashes non-stop as if something is happening there.
 This is not normal.  On a standard Linux system, the device does not blink
 like that while it's idle.

 I would say the device should not be always busy.  This smells more of a
 bad programmed component, than an actual feature.  Why would the Journal
 keep accessing the USB flash drive even when it's idle?  To make it
 impossible to unmount through the CLI?  That makes no sense.
