 Bernie's fix will fix those cases - apparently for pretty boot we are
 freezing in the kernel, and unfreezing when we get to X - which currently
 will overwrite the GP registers in a bad way.  On a slightly different
 tangent - saving and restoring *any* video registers while transitioning
 into X is bad.  We should have a "ignore" bit to set in the DCON driver to
 avoid powering down the GPU during the transition.
