 1) Insert USB flash drive and let the system automount it

 2) Unmount it through the Journal but leave the device plugged

 3) Suspend laptop

 4) Awake laptop

 5) The USB flash drive is mounted again by the system upon awakening

 Is this intentional or a bug?

 I'd say the system should not have automounted the drive, but there may be
 some routine upon awakening the system from Suspend mode that may require
 it to scan for all plugged-in devices.
