Comment:

 Patch checked in. As I said, this is necessary but not sufficient - you'll
 still need to write the UI for this feature.

 I've updated the NEWS file with:

 * #3378 Support changes in activity scope (incomplete!) (smcv, marco)

 Please remove "(incomplete!)" when you've done the UI part :-)
