Comment:

 Not sure why the fix would not work for that case. I'll have to
 investigate. I tend to think that for Trial-3 we should work the problem
 around in the activity. Displaying transient windows on startup is really
 a side case and, for Trial-3, I'd rather not risk to break the shell logic
 for it.
