Comment:

 I guess my description was no good ...

 When you press 'i' during boot you can enter the fedora core interactive
 startup. (You may know the "Press 'I' to enter interactive startup"
 message). The rotating XO logo just stays there. If you switch to vt1 it
 shows that the computer is waiting for confirmation to start the different
 services.

 I don't expect this is really needed, but build is 602 and firmware Q2C27.
