Comment:

 I believe that Mitch has fixed the keyboard problem (b, above).  The
 remaining issue is what happens if you run off the end of the script (c).
 This is somewhat insecure, as forth errors may still yield the prompt
 (maybe wrapping a try/catch around the whole thing helps?).  I'm worried
 that we will in the future sign diagnostic scripts which could be loaded
 onto MP machines in order to disable activation.  I'll reluctantly move
 this out to FRS as long as bug #3589 is fixed, but since this is a
 activation security problem, I really want it fixed by MP.
