 There are several protocols involved in Salut; the protocol we're
 discussing here (and for which I've used the salut-needs-new-protocol tag
 in Trac) is the rMulticast protocol used to implement multi-user chat
 (activities). As discussed in a private e-mail thread with subject "New
 salut multicast protocol", Sjoerd didn't feel that he could get this
 working and reliable in time for Trial 3, but hopes to have it ready for
 1.0.
