 Right now pages display "Loading..." while they are rendering.  We should
 augment or replace this with an icon which makes this evident.  I've
 assigned it to myself to come up with an icon, though thoughts from others
 would be appreciated.

 We could use the circular arrow (like that in the busy cursor or the
 refresh button in browse) to indicate this.  Any better ideas?  Would it
 be a terrible idea to try to use the [white outline, no fill] approach
 used to represent presence and absence elsewhere?  Gray out the page with
 a white border, perhaps?
