Comment:

 In addition to the saturation issue, also note what looks like incomplete
 buffers (the black bands at the top of some of the frames).

 The problem has been around for over a month, but it only became a *very
 noticeable* problem when grabbing the first frame of videos to make
 thumbnails.

 Dan, what was the specific driver we rolled back to to get the good frames
 from gstreamer?
