Yes, there is an update actually on this. We have an enhanced rate-
adaptation algorithm implemented in firmware. In the interest of de-
coupling effects of this algorithm from the fixes introduced for the USB
suspend-resume issue (trac # 2621), we had held back on it. We have a
firmware drop with the new rate-adaptation scheme, ready. We are actually
working out a date for releasing this to OLPC.
Alongwith the firmware binary drop, we will also show test results showing
the improvements gained because of the algorithm. These have been shared
with Michail already by the way.
