Comment:

 Bert and I almost have the fix.  But I have a little question on the ideal
 behavior.  When you switch away from the Record activity, the green lights
 don't go away, or Record doesn't release the resources, right?  But when
 you start, say Etoys from there, Record gets notified and releases, right?
 If that behavior is ok, this fix for Etoys does the same thing.
