 Poking around a little ("LANG=ar ./sugar-jhbuild run"), it seems like
 almost *nothing* in sugar properly swaps RTL. (Especially stuff based on
 HippoCanvas, which doesn't have auto RTL-swapping like GtkHBox and some
 other similar widgets do.)

 I'm going to try making HippoCanvasBox do auto-swapping like GtkHBox, but
 that may break other layouts. Anyway, if we're actually planning to ship
 1.0 to Arabic-speaking countries, we need to fix a lot more places than
 this. And if we're not, then this probably doesn't need to be FRS.
