Comment:

 Appears to be a problem with the sugar gtk theme; running

   SUGAR_PROFILE=nonexistent ./sugar-jhbuild run sugar-shell

 outside of the sugar environment pops up an (ugly) Name entry that is able
 to fit a whole "Å"

 (and in answer to Marco's earlier question, yes, it does apply to all
 entries, or at least all sugar.graphics.CanvasEntry)
