 Hrm, there is a bug with the patch with regard to style handling. It seems
 like the menu does not have the correct style applied because it is not
 embedded. This causes problems if I set the x- and ythickness to 0 in the
 style.
 I guess we need to do the style embed/unembed trick to get this right.
