 I'm still getting the white page most of the time.  It's probably
 unrelated but I thought I should mention it anyway.  This problem started
 just after I opened a ogg vorbis file from a usb stick.  It opened in
 etoys but had sounded strange since it had a loud crackle for some reason.
 The journal went strange soon after this.
