News Reader interaction with Browse is painfully slow and complex.
 Build 581, B4.

Clicking on a url starts a new instance of Browse (every time), briefly
shows the home view, and then the web page. It takes several seconds to
get into Browse, even if a Browse is already running. If one isn't, its
more like 10 seconds. Not including page load time.

Getting back requires either knowing/using Alt-C, or first clicking on the
"Activity" tab, and then on the "X" toolbutton. The Esc/X key doesn't
work in Browse (#3492). This leaves you in home view, and you reselect
 the News Reader.

Perhaps with a slow web connection, this UI overhead isn't significant.
Or when the web page requires significant investment. But with the
default "picture of the day" feeds and a fast connection, I found it
painful enough to write this ticket.

Perhaps a Browse instance could be reused? With a some fast single-click
path back into the News Reader?
