 In build 581, one can see calculation results, but cannot use them for
 further calculation, nor cut and paste them.

 Example: type "1+1" and press enter.  The calculator display/input-text-
 box blanks (rather than becoming "2"), and "1+1  =2" appears in the
 history.  Clicking on history puts "1+1" back in the display.  One does
 not appear to be able to select text (eg, "2") in the history for copy-
 and-paste.  One does not seem able to get "2" into the display without
 retyping it.

 Impact: Can't get results out of the calculator (eg, to Write).  Things
 like "1+1" with low precidence operators, need to be () bracketed if you
 want to append, for example, "*5".  Incrementally extended equations never
 compact, and so can grow annoyingly wide.

 Suggested fix: Don't blank the display upon enter.  Instead, leave the
 result there.
