  * B leaves.
  * A leaves.
  * B still believes A to be in the activity. B doesn't see A leaving.
  * B still sees the activity in mesh view.
  * B joins again, and sees nobody else in it.
  * B leaves again - now the activity disappears from B's mesh view.
