 To add: the solution would be to retransmit the document as of a
 particular revision, and reload that. This will mean it will be 'annoying'
 to the user (it will cost some time to transfer, the document will take a
 while to load, etc). Some things can be done to make it a less bad
 experience, like putting the cursor back in roughly the right spot of the
 document, but it will still not be the most elegant thing to do. This
 means we will only have to resort to this when absolutely needed.
