 Changes to the mesh protocol won't affect this (unless they bring the lag
 down, which reduced the chances of hitting this).

 There is a sortof 'catch-all' solution for this, as described in issue
 "3454: Ability to recover from out of sync documents". However, this
 should also ofcourse be fixed properly, so that 3454 would not be needed
 anymore in the long run.
