 When several XOs are participating in an activity, and therefore grouped
 around the activity icon neighborhood view, the XO at the head of the
 participants list should appear at 12 o'clock (PI/2), with the remaining
 XOs distributed equally around the ring clockwise from that position.
 Note that this will place a singular XO directly above the icon for its
 activity.

 There is one exception to this rule, which is the 2-participants case.
 When there are 2 XOs in an activity, we'll place the origin at 9 o'clock
 (PI) so that they appear on either side of the activity.
