 I have recreated this (not on purpose) on both a B4 and a C unit -- and I
 also got the nasty feedback when I ran the new record activity, where you
 can record sounds; after I had run measure.

 I rebooted and ran only the Record's sound recorder and did NOT get the
 problem. So Measure must be leaving the audio is a bad state.
