 Build 573, clean install - no backup.

 I started up Abiword and Browse and start a document on cats. Grabbed an
 image from the web into my clipboard; then dragged it into the doc.

 Then I inserted my USB stick. At that point the Journal items disappeared
 (before I even clicked on the USB icon); and after that clicking on either
 the USB icon or the Journal icon continued to display no items.

 I spoke with AlexL on whether he saw this problem, and he installed a USB
 stick while viewing his journal and all the items went away as well. The
 difference is that he had many journal items and he moved his cursor over
 to the scroll bar, started scrolling and at that point all his items
 showed up in both the Journal and from the USB.

 I never get a scroll bar, since there aren't many items in the journal...
 and I can't figure out how to get a 'refresh' on my journal view. I went
 in and out of journal, I clicked on all the filtering sorting items...
 nothing ever showed up.

 I tried to unmount the usb stick, but it wouldn't unmount. I went into
 terminal window and unmounted it. Went back into Journal and the USB icon
 was gone... still no listings in my Journal.

 I rebooted and the 4 items are now listed in my journal.

 Attached the journal and datastore logs.
