Comment:

 Way to reproduce it:

 1) go to the mesh view
 2) click on your budy icon, another xo icon or your desired access point,
 even hovering over works
 3) go to the hot corners
 4) you will not be able to access them
 5) go to the group view with the group view key - problem remains
