Comment:

 The attached patch seems to fix this. It's a bug in merging different
 "telepathy plugins'" opinions of the current activity - if the current
 activity is exported on Gabble, but Salut is slower to reply with its idea
 of the current activity (i.e. nothing), then the empty current-activity
 from Salut will overwrite the non-empty one from Gabble.
