Comment:

 With some PS fixes, and running a third instance a3 (which never joins any
 activity) as a monitor:

 1. All OK (bug fixed: XO does not think the activity it just shared is
 current)

 2. All OK

 3. a1 still thinks a2 is in the activity (as before, bug: when someone
 leaves an activity, other participants don't see them leave)

 4. a2 does not think a1 has a current activity (as before, bug: when a2
 rejoins an activity they used to be in, they think the other participant
 no longer has it as a current activity)

 5. a2 still thinks a1 is in the activity (same bug as 3)

 6. a1 does not think a2 has a current activity (same bug as 4)
