Comment:

 When I switch to another activity (not the home zoom level), sometimes
 notify::active callbacks are not being made.

 For example, in build #568..

 I launch Record activity (Record doesn't receive an active callback, but
 at launch, I can presume Record is active.).
 Then I go to the donut and launch Paint.  When paint has launched, I don't
 receive an active callback.
 But when I return to Record, I do get an active callback.
 Then, if I I go back to Paint, *then* Record gets a callback.
