 It appears that mime-types are being used for file extensions for items on
 the clipboard.

 For example, I add picture.jpg with mime-type image/jpeg to the clipboard,
 and when I open it in browse, the filename is something.jpe

 This incorrect file extension looks like it comes from the mime-type.

 This error looks like it is responsible for what prevents pictures taken
 in Record from being opened in Etoys.
