 Observations after trying out the kernel that you pointed me
 to.(http://dev.laptop.org/~dilinger/stable/RPMS/i586/kernel-
 latest.i586.rpm)


 1. If one enables AI with vref being on, vref gets switched off
 automatically when the AI switch is made.


 2. When AI is enabled and vref is disabled, and one disables AI, vref gets
 turned on automatically.


 Note:
 * AI = Analog Input
 * 'enabled', 'turned on' refers to control being unmuted and
 'disabled' ,'turned off' refers to muted
