 wasn't preserved through the backup process. But some other browser
 information survived backup and restore, such as my gmail defaults.''

 This gets handled by: 3195

 This is the expected behavior in my opinion. When you click on a link in
 the chat activity for example it should come up as a separate browser
 instance since we do not have tabs in the web activity. The tray is for
 shared links. Once/If we have tabs that would become an option I guess.

 All the rest of the issues are fixed so I close this ticket.
