 The left edge of the frame seems to extend inward too far by a few pixels.
 It actually overlaps the top and bottom edges slightly, which is
 noticeable when hovering over the mesh icon at the upper left.  This also
 has the effect of preventing the frame from hiding completely, with the
 edge pixels remaining active, such that moving the cursor to the left edge
 of the screen will immediately cause the frame to slide out.
