In old builds, we had "respawn" in the inittab line that runs olpc-dm.

However, respawning the X session whenever it dies is a receipt for very
annoying behavior in case of errors in the session.

Using "once", the current behavior, is also inadequate: developers are
used to zap the server with Ctrl-Alt-BS in order to restart their Sugar
 sesion.

Users also get told to do it as a quick way to recover from memory leaks
in the session without going through a full reboot. Some control panel
features will also require restarting the session by killing the sugar
 process.

A possible solution is: check how long the session lasted in olpc-dm. If
it's less than 10 seconds, exit. Otherwise, respawn.
