 We did not have a final decision so I'd leave it up to you to make
 something usable. I think a design similar in style to the current blobby
 cursor, but with a pointy head (45 degrees angle) would work much better.
 I experimented with making the cursor transparent after some idle time,
 but I this does not help with picking.
