Comment:

 It seems that the trial-3 kernel didn't have the fixes which make JFFS2
 robust w.r.t. the vserver copy-on-write bug. We need to pick up those
 commits from the stable branch --
 20b5ed20607287ea726473e45139205dc437edf5 and the five before it.

 Fixing the vserver brokenness would also be useful, perhaps -- or just
 stop using copy-on-write.
