Comment:

 Richard and I set up a test to see this, but the low battery LED actually
 came on. Then Richard set up another test and said he did see this
 mysterious shutdown. It hadn't reached the low battery level, but it shut
 down.

 Perhaps this bug is a dup of the mysterious shutdown bugs, #4369, #4052,
 #3610
