Comment:

 I already have a fix for sluggish nature of Measure when it goes into the
 background. See #4444. Fix will be incorporated in next release of the
 Activity on Monday/Tuesday.


 Erik, an idea -> perhaps either of our Activities need to wait a little
 when they are restarted (i.e. become active again after becoming
 inactive). This might be because the other activity might not have
 immediately released the resources by that time ?

 Also, could you please let me know that if record is not able to start
 grabbing audio from ALSA, i.e. the audio capture device is blocked, do we
 get video or do we get nothing ?


 Any other thoughts on the possible cause of conflict ?
