Comment(by wad):

 We went from having all laptops in a testbed of 40 laptops running
 suspend/resume tests crash repeatedly with this bug, to having NONE fail,
 even after a couple of days of continuous testing, thanks to dilinger's
 patch.

 We did not start seeing another problem which might be blamed on the root
 cause (such as the WLAN disappering) as a result.

 I think dilinger's patch is an acceptable fix to this problem...
