 In testing suspend/resume, we found one laptop which didn't wakeup from
 real-time clock (RTC) events.

 The RTC was set to a valid time, and was incrementing.

 The solution was to clear the RTC by removing the RTC battery and shorting
 the battery terminals on the motherboard, then set the RTC to the correct
 date.
