 Andres,

 Failed to communicate properly on IRC yesterday. What I meant was
 that the bcdDevice variation was still there (now fixed in stable),
 but the following error needs to be investigated:

 [ 2.009936] ehci_hcd 0000:00:0f.5: port 1 reset error -110

 This causes the reenumeration to fail and the device to disappear.
