 I thought from previous discussions that this was the main way in which
 hope ''to'' scale.  I don't think that Groups really takes pressure off of
 Neighborhood view, which we know won't scale as is, because there isn't
 much incentive to making a group yet (eg. no persistent state, no bboards,
 no ability to share or initiate an activity with the group scope, etc.)
 The scaling issues are also orthogonal to the general usefulness of the
 view, which is greatly limited without a basic filtering mechanism.

 In the design meeting yesterday, Kim was under the impression that this
 feature was still planned for 1.0.  Marco, Tomeu, do you still think we
 can get this in?
