 needs to be sanity-checked.

 it is quite hard to make a possibly long lasting 'copy' operation atomic,
 without locking down the entire filesystem, but I think what we really
 want is userspace consistancy instead of atomicity, thus I will propose a
 patch to achieve that shortly.
