 A few months ago I prepared
 [https://cozybit1.dnsalias.org/~javier/patches/0001-libertas-Per-socket-
 mesh-ttl-via-setsockopt.txt this patch] that allows changing the mesh ttl
 on individual network flows.  It was rejected upstream because
 [http://lists.openwall.net/netdev/2007/07/27/40 it does things that a
 driver should not do].

 The patch was well tested and works.  Feel free to use as is, or to change
 it to please TPTB.
