 Yes, XFree86-Misc is what I actually disabled, and now `xset r rate 500
 30` complains about it missing.

 Then we need to restore the XFree86-Misc extension.

 But I think these advanced things used by assistive tech. such as "sticky
 keys" are part of XKB and not old X input protocol.

 So maybe we don't need to re-enable XFree86-Misc after all.  Jim, what's
 your opinion?
