 Note that because of the way NM 0.6.5 and earlier consolidate access
 points, the channel shown wouldn't necessarily be the channel that would
 be used.  For example, if you have two access points with the same SSID on
 two channels, only one of those APs will be shown in NetworkManager.  But
 the association may happen on the other channel than shown because the
 card/firmware/driver decides to use that one (it may be stronger,
 whatever).
