 It seems that stuff on the right side of the screen is just aliasing.
 (which makes me wonder if there is no roll-off in the windowing function,
 which would be bad)

 Stuff on the left gets all bunched up. The scale looks to be about 2048 Hz
 per division. That puts most of the interesting stuff in the leftmost two
 or three grid cells.

 512 Hz per division would be better. That'd show DC through 12000 Hz. Kids
 may need an option for much lower frequencies if they do long-running non-
 audio experiments.
