 I've tried feeding it all sorts of stable sounds,
 and I've tried all the settings. I can't get it to
 nicely show the waveform like it should.

 If I feed it a triangle wave, I want to see two
 or three mostly straight lines that are at least
 somewhat stable. (like a "V" with any phase)

 (maybe a tuning knob and an optional PLL)
