 The most annoying sideeffect of this, is that during collaboration PNG
 data is transmitted over the wire. Since a very common usecase is children
 inserting a picture taken with Record in Write this happens a lot. The
 difference is  29KB of jpg data over the wire, and 700 KB of png data over
 the wire (which is currently the case). 700KB of data easily leads to a
 lag of a minute, which makes collaborating really hard.
