 When an invitation has been sent, a white outline XO should appear in the
 frame as a placeholder for the XO that has not yet arrived.  This will
 provide feedback for the inviter, so they know the action had an effect,
 as well as alert any others already in the activity to the fact that more
 participants may join.

 The XO should appear in the same way icons appear in the clipboard.  For
 now, that means briefly showing the frame.  In the future, that means
 popping the icon up on screen, and sliding it off screen, "into" the
 frame.
